After her first solo recital at the age of twelve, Patrizia Salvini gained recognition with audience and music critics playing as a solist in many cities such as Rome (Parco della Musica, Sala di Santa Cecilia), Milan, Mantova (Palazzo Ducale, Teatro Bibiena), Bolzano, Venice (Arbrizzi Palace), Bologna, Ravenna, Perugia, Varese, Bergamo (Sala Piatti), Turin (Vittoria Theatre, Alfieri Theatre), Brescia (Auditorium San Barnaba and University), Valladolid, Madrid, Lyon, Scutari, Tirana, Rijeka, Bruxelles, Munich, Bonn, London, (St. Martin in the Field), Warsaw, Lodz, Gdansk.

She is often invited to give recitals in many festivals such as “MiTo” 2008 (one of the most
important European festivals), "Lediecigiornate" in Brescia, “Aosta Classica”, “Festival Verdi”, Piano Festival in Spoleto... Recently she has been soloist with the Orchestra of the Conservatorio "L. Marenzio" of Brescia, Orchestra Sinfonietta Italiana and Orchestra, Pomeriggi Musicali in Milano Conducted by Andrea Dindo. For many years alongside her solo career, Patrizia has performer as a chamber musician, in
formations from duo to sextet, working frequently with the flautist V. Noris, with whom she
formed the duo ‘Artèmise’, and the english flutist Katrina Penman. As piano duo she gave the first
ever performance of the piece ‘quasi un enigma’ by composer P. Rimoldi. She has worked as a
piano accompanist to the classes of professors N.Bulfone, Y. Berinskaya, Bruno Cavallo (ex
principal flute in Teatro alla Scala), Marco Zoni (principal flute in Teatro alla Scala), Marco Scano
(ex principal solot cello solista presso il Teatro alla Scala) in many courses.

Patrizia Salvini began her successful career as a pianist at the age of six, winning numerous prizes
in National and International competitions. Has won more than twenty First Prizes, including
“Città di Stresa”; International Music Competition “Città di Cortemilia”; “Terzo Musica” (also
winning the special prize ‘A. Tavella’ for the ‘best young talent’); “Città di Cesenatico”; “J.S.Bach –
Città di Sestri Levante”; “Pianists Italian Cup” Osimo; “Bologna City” (also winning the overall
category); Piano Prize Valle Bormida; Castiglion Fiorentino (also winning the Special Prize
FIDAPA) etc...
She is the absolute winner of the International Competition "Accademy Prize - Rome", in 2007 she
won the prestigious competition held by the Umanitaria in Milan, a competition reserved for the
best students from the Italian Conservatoires. Following this, she recorded a CD for SAX Records
and won the opportunity to perform a series of solo concerts during the 2008-9 season. Patrizia
also won prizes at the International Piano Competition ‘C. Togni’ in Gussago, in the section Piano
and Orchestra, and at the VI International Grand Prix Lions Club in Rijeka at the age of
fifteen.

Patrizia began studying the piano under her mother’s instruction at the age of five and in
1998 she entered the class of Prof. M. Neri at the Istitute “G. Puccini” di Gallarate where she
received her diploma with full marks, honours and a special mention. She continued her studies
on the master course at the European Piano Academy “R. Romanini” in Brescia with Prof. S.
Marengoni and she passed with top marks cum laude the specialist piano Diploma held by M°
Sergio Perticaroli at the prestigious National Academy Santa Cecilia in Rome. During her studies
she took advantage of the advice of acclaimed Pianists such as A. Ciccolini, L. Margarius, K.
Bogino, P. B. Skoda, C. Katsaris, A. Speranza and M. Beroff in Masterclasses held in MusicaRiva
Festival, Villa Medici-Giulini in Briosco, Accadémie Internationale d'eté de Nice and the Universitat Mozarteum in Salzburg.
